"Rocky Top, You'll Always Be....

Home Sweet Home to Me! Good Ol' Rocky Top, Rocky Top Tenneesee!" That's right, it's official. We are heading back to the promise land of Tennessee on May 27th! I can't believe our 3 years at Trinity have come and gone so quickly. And what a blessing to get to go back to East TN!
Jeremiah was offered and accepted a job in Chattanooga and will be starting on May 30th! He will work full-time as a child and family counselor at Youth Villages, and will work part-time in a private practice (Lighthouse).
While we are excited to head back to the Southeast and get started, it is bitter sweet. It is hard to imagine leaving the wonderful life-long friends we have made in our time here. Our church family is irreplaceable (although I'm sure the Lord will blow our socks off in Chattanooga with a great replacement we didn't think possible!), our friends at Trinity life changing...oh how we will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for making these past years so rich. Thank you for challenging our thinking and our ways of doing things. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you inorder that He might refine us!
And of course....you always have a place to stay in TN!

Big Smiles!

We are having so much fun with Ben smiling and laughing now! This picture was taken at a baby shower. Ben was the only boy there and let me tell you....he was flirting like crazy with those baby blues and long eye lashes!!! What a ham!

What a beast!

Well, yesterday was Ben's doctors appointment, and yes you are seeing correctly....16 lb. 2.5 oz.! My son is 2.5 months old and is in the 4-6 month weight range! I love it! The funny thing is...his granny and I were determined he wasn't 16 lb.s yet, but his dad said he was 16.3! If you round up he is right. We couldn't believe it!

Smiles

It is so fun seeing Ben smile! His little personality really shines through. His favorite thing to do right now is sit on your lap and smile and laugh and tell little stories (in his own words of course). He is such a cutie!
